Hanna Larsson is Communications Manager for social media at SVT. In this session on ending online harassment she talks about how Sweden's public broadcasting company is approaching and countering harassment on their platforms.
To solve the raising challenge with online harassment SVT practice moderation and active editorship. SVT assess the risk and help their participants in their programs to understand what they are getting into by teaching practical tips on how to use social media in a more secure way. At the same time the editors needs to balance relevant important stories and considerate when individuals are at risk.
